Libby Trickett joins Somerville House as Swimming Ambassador

The Somerville House community is delighted to welcome Olympic, Commonwealth Games and World Championship gold medallist and Old Girl, Mrs Libby Trickett ‘back’ to Somerville House as she takes on the role of Swimming Ambassador.
Libby Trickett (nee Lisbeth Lenton) attended Somerville House from 1998 - 2002. She was a gold medallist at the 2004 Summer Olympics, the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2012 Summer Olympics, and was the world record holder in the short-course (25m) 100-metre freestyle.

Libby’s role will involve working with the School to promote Somerville House swimming and she will act as both a mentor to the swimmers and an advisor to the coaches, adding significant support to our swimming program that continues to go from strength to strength.
